The Jon Hamm House in Los Feliz
The house sits behind a private gate at the end of a cul-de-sac in the hills below Griffith Park. It is a two-storey midcentury modern design with horizontal wood cladding wrapped around the main floor, and it had been fully renovated shortly before Hamm bought it. Inside, wood-paneled ceilings and Douglas fir run through the rooms, and there are fireplaces in the sitting room and the main suite.

The 2014 sale at $1.1 million and the 2017 price of $3.375 million show what the renovation in between did to the house’s value. The neighbourhood has seen the same rise; it is the same hillside district that drew Chadwick Boseman and where Aubrey Plaza sold her Spanish-style compound in 2026.
His First Los Feliz Home, With Jennifer Westfeldt
Hamm’s ties to the neighbourhood predate Mad Men. In 2002, while he was still a little-known working actor, he and Westfeldt bought a Los Feliz house of about 3,100 square feet for $900,000. The 2017 purchase kept him in the same part of town, at more than three times the price.
The Upper West Side Penthouse
In 2013, at the height of Mad Men, Hamm and Westfeldt paid $2.45 million for a penthouse in Lincoln Square on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. It is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment of about 1,000 square feet on the tenth floor of a landmarked prewar building by the architect Rosario Candela, with two terraces near Central Park.

Los Feliz. Hamm married Anna Osceola in 2023 in Big Sur, at the stretch of coast where they met while filming the final episode of Mad Men, and the 2017 house is their shared home. It has not been listed or sold, and no new purchase by Hamm has been reported. Some reports put the 2017 price at $4 million; the figure in contemporary coverage of the sale is $3.375 million.
