Paris Hilton’s backyard already has a mansion. Now it turns out it has two.
On June 8, the hotel heiress posted an Instagram Reel giving fans a tour of her famous backyard “doggy mansion” — except this time, the tour guides were her own toddlers, 3-year-old Phoenix and 2-year-old London. By the end of the clip, both kids had decided they liked the dog house better than the actual house, and said so.
What Happens in the Video
The video opens with Hilton and London approaching the structure — a two-story mini mansion with pink interiors and its own balcony, tucked into the backyard of the family’s Beverly Park estate. “Oh, look at the doggy mansion,” Hilton says, and London echoes her right back, clearly delighted.
Inside, the kids don’t hold back on staking their claim. Phoenix climbs the stairs past a row of pink dog beds and announces, “This is my house, too.” Upstairs, he spots a toy DJ set on the balcony and asks his mom about it — Hilton confirms it’s his, laughing and dubbing him “DJ P,” a nod to her own long-running career behind the decks.
London, meanwhile, tries to climb out through a window onto the balcony, only for Hilton to catch her: “Where are you going, miss? Are you sneaking out?” London’s answer says it all: “It’s our house.”
What Hilton explains to Her Kids
That’s when Hilton explains something fans may not have known — the structure wasn’t originally built for her dogs at all. “It is your house,” she tells her kids. “I built this for you guys before you were born.” She adds that she’d always imagined a space like this for her future children, long before she had a family of her own; her dogs simply got to use it first.
By the end of the video, Phoenix commits fully. Standing on the balcony, he tells his mom he’s moving in for good. Hilton plays along, pretending to head home without him — “Okay, well I’m gonna go home,” she says. When Phoenix asks why, she reminds him it’s because he just said he was moving in. He doesn’t back down, repeating that he’s staying and waving excitedly from the balcony as the clip ends. Hilton captioned the post “Looks like Phoenix is moving into the doggy mansion,” tagging it with her usual #SlivingMom sign-off.
The Doggy Mansion’s Backstory
The doggy mansion isn’t a new addition — it dates back to 2009, when Hilton had it built in collaboration with Faye Resnick, a family friend and interior decorator. At the time, Hilton described wanting something that mirrored her own home in miniature: a two-story structure with heating and air conditioning, a black crystal chandelier, and furnishings that included miniature Philippe Starck pieces, scaled down to fit the space. The goal, in her words, was for it to feel “elegant, girly, comfortable, pink and beautiful.”
The mini mansion has made appearances on Hilton’s social media over the years, most notably resurfacing in 2017 when she showed it off online. This latest video marks its first real starring role with the next generation of the family, though — and it’s given the structure a new job description.

A Home Built for a Growing Family
