Acun Ilicali (Ilıcalı in Turkish), the Edirne-born producer behind Acunmedya, the TV8 channel, the Exxen streaming platform and Survivor Turkey, and the owner of English club Hull City since January 2022, has never put a primary residence on public display. What Turkish newspapers have documented is a pattern of Aegean villas and one headline-making Istanbul purchase: a Bosphorus-view house in Kuruçeşme that he bought for 56 million Turkish lira as a wedding gift in 2017.
Below is every property the press has tied to him, what each one is known for, and the one widely shared villa story that does not actually belong to him.

The Bodrum Villa He Shared With Zeynep Yılmaz
The earliest home on record is a villa in Bodrum, on Turkey’s southwest coast. In October 2010, Haber7 ran a photo gallery of the house, which Acun shared with his second wife, Zeynep Yılmaz, whom he married in 2003.
Inside, the captions point to Zeynep’s hand: the couple’s bedroom was done in mostly white tones, and the kitchen was finished to her specifications. The gallery gives no neighborhood, size, price or purchase date, and the couple divorced in 2016, so its current ownership is not on record.
Acun Ilicali House on the Bosphorus: Kuruçeşme
The purchase that put Acun Ilicali House searches on the map came in the summer of 2017. CNN Türk reported on July 30 that year that he had bought a Bosphorus-view home in Kuruçeşme, a waterfront neighborhood on Istanbul’s European shore, as a wedding gift for his fiancée, Şeyma Subaşı. The reported value was 56 million lira. The report added that Subaşı, then splitting her time between Çeşme and Mykonos, was expected to move in after a September wedding in France. The couple married in 2017 and divorced in 2018.
No floor plan, room count or square footage was published. What is clear is the location: Kuruçeşme sits on the water between Ortaköy and Arnavutköy.
After the divorce, the house went back on the market. Emlak Kulisi, a Turkish real estate news site, has carried conflicting accounts of what happened next: one report mentions an asking price of 13 million euros, another says he sold it for 50 million lira while maintaining it was worth 100 million, and a later one says it sold for 125 million lira. None of these figures has been confirmed by the parties, so the final sale price remains unclear.

A Summer Home in Çeşme
Çeşme, the resort peninsula west of Izmir, is where Acun spends his summers. In August 2018, Hürriyet reported that he had hosted Mexican billionaire Ricardo Salinas and his family at his home there for about an hour, sharing photos of the visit on Instagram.
The peninsula is also where he entertains friends. In the summer of 2017, Hürriyet reported that footballer Mesut Özil and Amine Gülşe came to Çeşme as his guests after a trip to Ibiza, went out on his speedboat and toured the streets of Alaçatı with him and Subaşı that evening.
Turkish property coverage also links him to Alaçatı itself, where he reportedly built a summer house on land he bought and later offered it for around 7 million euros. That asking price comes from Emlak Kulisi alone and has not been confirmed elsewhere, so treat it as a report rather than a record.
Kaplankaya: His Latest Bodrum Address
The most recent report is from June 2026. GZT, covering Uruguayan midfielder Lucas Torreira’s purchase of a villa for about 235 million lira, noted that the same complex in Bodrum’s Kaplankaya area also has villas belonging to Acun, Ali Koç, İzzet Özilhan and the Sabancı family. Koç, as Fenerbahçe president, had Acun on his board as vice-president from 2024 to 2025.
GZT said residents of the complex can reach Bodrum’s Gündoğan by sea in about 20 minutes. Nothing about the size or price of Acun’s own villa there has been published.
The €16 Million Villa That Isn’t His
A story that still circulates under his name involves a different house. In July 2024, Turkish outlets claimed his ex-wife Zeynep Yılmaz had listed her Bodrum villa for 16 million euros. According to Türkiye Gazetesi, the roughly 500-square-meter house sits in the Mandarin complex at Cennet Koyu and was decorated entirely to her own taste.
Not an Acun Ilicali sale
The Cennet Koyu villa belongs to Zeynep Yılmaz, not to Acun. She called the €16 million listing story fake news on Instagram, and no actual listing has surfaced.
The only connection to Acun is their past marriage. Articles that present this villa or its rumored price as his are wrong on both counts.
Where Does Acun Ilicali Live Now?
As of the latest reports, his business base is Istanbul, where Acunmedya and TV8 operate, while his documented homes are on the Aegean coast at Kaplankaya and Çeşme. He married Ayça Çağla Altunkaya in September 2024, but no outlet has reported a new Istanbul home since the Kuruçeşme house was sold, so his current city residence is not on the public record.
