Kaia Gerber House: The SoHo Loft She Bought From Mike Myers and Sold for $5.5M

By Daniel Harper

In this article

Kaia Gerber has owned one home in her own name that is on public record: a two-bedroom loft in SoHo, Manhattan, which she bought from comedian Mike Myers and sold in spring 2026 for $5.5 million. She has since moved back to California, where she has long shared a cliffside Los Angeles-area house with her parents, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, and her brother Presley.

So when people search for the Kaia Gerber house, the answer splits in two: the Manhattan apartment she bought, renovated and sold, and the family homes her parents bought and sold around her while she grew up.

Her one documented solo purchase, sold after she moved back to Los Angeles.

The SoHo Loft She Bought From Mike Myers

The apartment is a fifth-floor condo on a cobblestoned SoHo street lined with shops. Its earlier owner was Mike Myers, who in 2018 owned both a duplex penthouse on the sixth and seventh floors of the same building and this unit below it. He had planned to combine them into one large penthouse, then sold them separately instead, according to Cottages & Gardens. Kaia bought the fifth-floor unit.

HOLA! USA reported that she paid $4 million in 2019. Other outlets place the purchase in 2018, so the exact year is not settled in the coverage. No outlet has given a figure other than $4 million.

She then oversaw a renovation. HOLA! quoted listing agent Georgia McDonald of The Corcoran Group describing the finished apartment as being “in truly pristine, move-in-ready condition,” and noted it had barely been lived in.

Inside the Kaia Gerber House in SoHo

Going by the Corcoran listing, as described by TMZ and Cottages & Gardens, the layout is built around a great room with 11-foot ceilings, a gas fireplace and floor-to-ceiling windows. The look is pared back: expansive white walls in what Cottages & Gardens called a “subdued contemporary-chic” style.

  • Kitchen and dining: a neutral kitchen with stainless steel countertops and high-end appliances, open to a dining area that seats 10.
  • Bedrooms: a gallery hallway leads to two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom.
  • Primary suite: a walk-in closet, a large Carrara marble bathroom and access to a balcony.
  • Arrival: a private elevator opens straight into the apartment.

Listing, Price Cut and Sale

Kaia put the loft on the market in September 2025 at $5.795 million, with Georgia McDonald and Dana Power of Corcoran as agents. The move followed her decision to relocate to Los Angeles to work on Ryan Murphy’s series “The Shards,” Cottages & Gardens reported.

The asking price was trimmed before a buyer signed. TMZ, citing property records, reported on April 1, 2026 that the apartment sold for $5.5 million. The buyer was not named.

Taking HOLA!’s $4 million purchase figure, that is roughly $1.5 million more than she paid, before renovation and selling costs, which have not been reported.

Where Does Kaia Gerber Live Now?

As of the latest reports, she lives in Los Angeles. HOLA! said in April 2026 that she had “recently relocated back to California,” and none of the coverage of the sale mentions a new purchase in her name.

The Los Angeles home on record is her parents’. HELLO! reported in 2023 that Kaia shares a cliffside house with Cindy, Rande and Presley, which the family bought after selling their previous Malibu home. Videos she and her mother have posted show an open-plan kitchen in cream and navy, white sofas against darker walls, and a patio over the Pacific with a pool one level below. The purchase price of that house has not been reported.

A 2023 Promiflash report, citing an unnamed insider, claimed she planned to move into then-boyfriend Austin Butler’s place in Los Feliz. That was never confirmed, and the couple later split, so treat any article that lists Los Feliz as her home with caution.

The Family Homes She Grew Up Around

Her parents have been active buyers and sellers in Southern California, and two of their homes often get mixed up with hers online.

Malibu, Encinal Bluffs: Cindy and Rande bought a blufftop estate in 2015, together with an adjacent parcel, for a combined $50.5 million. They listed it in 2016 at $60 million, cut the price, and sold it in 2018 for $45 million, keeping the neighbouring parcel, according to HELLO! and W Magazine.

Beverly Hills, Trousdale Estates: In 2017 they paid $11.6 million for a 1959 midcentury house previously owned by OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder, who had renovated it in black and white. It first came back on the market at $16 million, dropped to $14.75 million and sold for $13.5 million in 2021, Elite Agent reported.

Both were her parents’ purchases, not hers. If you want to compare with other models’ property moves, see how Kendall Jenner’s homes in Beverly Hills and Montecito have changed hands.
