Brooklyn Decker and her husband, retired tennis champion Andy Roddick, now live in Charlotte, North Carolina, the city where she grew up. According to a 2025 Garden & Gun profile, the family left Austin for Charlotte before the pandemic.
Before that move, the couple owned and later sold three houses: a five-bedroom home in Los Angeles, a lake house they built in Cashiers, North Carolina, and a 15-acre estate in the hills west of Austin. The Austin property is the one most searches for the Brooklyn Decker house turn up, and it is often presented as their current home even though it sold in 2019.

Brooklyn Decker House in Austin: The 15-Acre Hill Country Estate
The couple bought the West Austin estate in 2013 for $3.7 million, a figure Cottages & Gardens attributed to Mansion Global. The house dated from 2003. It was built by Austin luxury builder Don Crowell and originally designed by Webber + Studio Architecture, according to Galerie. A private road about a third of a mile long leads up to it through 15 wooded acres with Hill Country views.
Listing reports put the size at about 7,370 square feet, with five bedrooms and six and a half baths (Galerie rounded to 7,400 square feet and seven baths). Decker and Roddick did not keep it as they found it. Their renovation, described in the 2018 listing coverage, included:
- A redone kitchen with white marble counters, slate blue-gray cabinets, a six-burner Wolf range and reclaimed wood beams salvaged from the Chicago Stock Exchange
- Reclaimed pine floors through the main rooms
- A new temperature-controlled wine cellar
- A new primary suite built onto the former guest bedroom, with a copper soaking tub, a large double rain shower and three walk-in closets
- A full gym and an office with a wood-burning fireplace
Outside there is a pool, hot tub, outdoor kitchen, fire pits and a covered patio with its own fireplace. Galerie called the look rustic-chic and farmhouse-inspired.
The Austin estate at a glance
Why they sold, and for how much
Kuper Sotheby’s listed the estate in September 2018 at $5.95 million. Listing agent Jonathan Creath told PaperCity the couple was “simply downsizing” and staying in Austin, where the Andy Roddick Foundation is based. The house eventually sold for $4.6 million, Cottages & Gardens reported in September 2019. That was $1.35 million below the original asking price but still about $900,000 above what the couple paid six years earlier, before counting the renovation.
Austin has drawn other famous owners too. Taylor Kitsch also sold his Austin home, while Joe Rogan bought on Lake Austin after leaving Los Angeles.
The Cashiers Lake House They Built From Scratch
In 2012 the couple bought a 2.76-acre lot on Silver Springs Lake in Cashiers, a mountain town in western North Carolina. The custom house was finished in 2013, the first home either of them had built from the ground up, according to Cottages & Gardens. It had four bedrooms and five baths, with timber accents, stone fireplaces, reclaimed wood ceilings, gold light fixtures and suspended beds in a guest room.
They listed it in June 2016 at $2.99 million, cut the asking price to $2.47 million, and sold it in late December 2017 for $2.35 million. At the time they said they were building a larger house about three miles away. Decker has since said she designed homes in Cashiers, including her own, and she calls the area the family’s “happy spot.”
The Los Angeles House With City Views
The couple also owned a three-story house in Cheviot Hills, on the west side of Los Angeles. They paid $2.792 million for it about two years before listing it in 2015 at $3.395 million. Hilton & Hyland, which represented both the buyer and the sellers, reported a quick sale at $3,337,500.
The house measures roughly 4,900 square feet, with five bedrooms, floor-to-ceiling steel-framed windows, an elevator serving all three floors, and a top-floor bonus room that opens onto a roof-level outdoor living room facing Century City and the Wilshire Corridor.

Where Does Brooklyn Decker Live Now?
Charlotte is home. Decker was born in Ohio but grew up in Matthews, a Charlotte suburb, and the family moved back from Austin so their children could grow up near relatives. Garden & Gun reported in 2025 that their house is connected to her parents’ place next door, with a shared screened porch and a garden out back. The magazine did not name the neighborhood, and neither does this article.
Cashiers remains the family’s mountain getaway. In Charlotte, Decker also helped design the Intown Golf Club, where the Garden & Gun shoot took place.
That Austin mansion is not their current home
Many celebrity-house pages still show the 15-acre Austin estate as where Decker and Roddick live. It sold in 2019, and the family has since moved to Charlotte.
