Olivia Palermo House: From a $3M Dumbo Loft to the Woolworth Building

By Daniel Harper

Olivia Palermo and her husband, German model Johannes Huebl, now live in Lower Manhattan’s Woolworth Building, the 1913 Cass Gilbert skyscraper that has condominiums on its upper floors. The Tamron Hall Show confirmed the move in October 2025. Before that, the couple spent close to a decade in Dumbo, Brooklyn, where they paid about $3 million for a loft in the Clock Tower Building in early 2017.

The Olivia Palermo house story online is often a guessing game: no purchase price has been reported for the Woolworth home, so any number attached to it is speculation. The Brooklyn condo is the only one of her homes with a documented price.

The Clock Tower Loft in Dumbo

6sqft reported in January 2017 that Palermo and Huebl had “bought a $3 million apartment in DUMBO’s Clocktower Building,” citing Luxury Listings NYC. Later write-ups of that report put the figure at $2.95 million. Either way, it was an off-market deal. The unit had last been publicly listed in 2008.

The apartment is a two-bedroom, 2.5-bath condo with 11-foot concrete beamed ceilings, oversized windows and hardwood floors. Its windows look out on the Brooklyn Bridge, the Manhattan Bridge, the East River and the waterfront park below. The couple bought it through two LLCs. One, Floto, was linked to Huebl. The other was named Billy Budd, which reportedly matched the name of a horse Palermo owned.

The Clock Tower is one of Dumbo’s best-known condo buildings. Anne Hathaway sold a unit there for $4.33 million in 2014, and the building’s tower penthouse sold for $15 million in 2017. Gothamist’s coverage of that sale noted that Palermo and Huebl lived in the building.

Palermo summed up the loft herself, telling an interviewer it was “modern, Brooklyn, light-filled, loft.”

Why Brooklyn? A Move That Started in 2009

She was already a Brooklyn resident before the purchase. According to the Luxury Listings report, Palermo moved from Tribeca to Brooklyn in 2009, while she was filming MTV’s The City. The 2017 deal was a step up rather than a new neighborhood. The couple married in June 2014 in a small ceremony in Bedford, New York, and kept Dumbo as their base for most of the next decade.

Olivia Palermo House Today: The Woolworth Building

The couple’s current home is in Manhattan. The Tamron Hall Show’s October 23, 2025 episode page says that when Palermo and Huebl “moved into their new residence inside New York’s legendary Woolworth Building,” she designed the interiors herself.

The building has history of its own. It was finished in 1913 to Cass Gilbert’s Gothic Revival design and was the world’s tallest building until 1930. Its upper floors were later converted into the Woolworth Tower Residences, with no more than two homes per floor. One unit, Pavilion A, was put on the market at $30 million. No report has said which unit Palermo and Huebl bought, or what they paid.

How She Furnished the New Apartment

The Woolworth home is also a commercial project. On February 2, 2026, Wayfair’s luxury brand Perigold announced its first major brand collaboration with Palermo. According to the press release, she designed the interior of her new apartment entirely through Perigold’s online store, with help from Perigold Design Services.

The company describes the look as her “signature European sensibility,” mixing classic forms with modern lines. The rooms are featured in a shoppable content series on Perigold’s site and social channels. That makes this one of the few celebrity apartments where readers can buy the actual furniture, though the release doesn’t give a room-by-room breakdown or name the building.

Where She Grew Up

The Woolworth move brings her back to Manhattan, where she was born in 1986. She was raised on the Upper East Side and in Greenwich, Connecticut. She attended Nightingale-Bamford in Manhattan and St. Luke’s School in nearby New Canaan. For more New York celebrity real estate, see Blake Lively’s New York homes.
